In deciding how best to deliver our purpose the Board considered the views of our stakeholders and how our strengths could be used to address external threats and make the best use of opportunities.

All of this culminated in themes that CDHA will focus on between now and 2026. The themes are inter-related and collectively play an important part in helping us to achieve the things we want to deliver through the life of this Strategic Plan

The Board is committed to providing our tenants with a high-quality, safe place to call home where they can put down roots, raise families, and feel part of a community. That’s why we want to play our part in helping houses become homes, streets becoming communities and people’s aspirations becoming realities.

Our stakeholders told us that they would like CDHA to:
• Provide good quality homes and create safer neighbourhoods
• Deliver good quality and accessible services
• Be more than just a landlord to support people to realise their potential
• Run CDHA in a business-like fashion but with a social heart

I am grateful to our stakeholders, my fellow Board members and our new Chief Executive for their unfailing support and tremendous commitment to helping CDHA to make a real difference to the lives of tenants.
